To create a visualization of specific words associated with colleges in order to help prospective students understand the atmosphere of various universities. Although sites like The Princeton Review give facts about each institution, it would be helpful to see the main descriptors current students of each university use to describe their life at the college on a daily basis.

Implementation:

Using Twitter, I will gather information (trending words from each school) about well-known institutions (beginning with state schools) via hashtags from posts. I will then compile information about the most commonly used words associated with those hashtags and create visualizations where the most used word is most prominent in the visualization.
